“The past is never where you think you left it.” – K.A. Porter

Welcome to a place you can explore, a place to feel at peace, a place to slow down, breathe and begin to notice the world around you.  A place where you begin to forgive, heal, smile and learn to “live in the moment.”

  1. I really love your blog.. Excellent colors & theme. Did you build this amazing site yourself?
Please reply back as I’m wanting to create my own personal blog and would love to know where you got this from or exactly what the theme is named. Thank you!

WordPress has lots of templates you can use. I don’t remember the name of this one as it’s been awhile but I just play around sometimes and go with what feels good at the time. Good luck!

  2. First of all I would like to say fantastic blog!
I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear
your thoughts before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Appreciate it!

Thanks! I don’t think much about “centering” myself when writing but just allow what it is that comes to mind to play out on the page. I find if I think too much, I end up censoring and I try to be someone I’m not when writing. I find we are our own worst critics. Just start writing. If you don’t usually like the first 10-15 minutes, cut it out and begin with what resonates with your mind and heart. Good luck! 🙂
